Published Monthly. Black-and-white or color submissions are considered by the Cartoon Editor. However, The American Legion Magazine purchases only color cartoons. If they wish to purchase a cartoon, the artist must first be willing to provide them with a color finish. Only single-panel cartoons will be considered for publication. Cartoons should be at least 5x6 inches, at least 300 dpi and as a JPEG; or via regular mail, on a white-paper background. Purchases first North American rights, and nonexclusive reprint rights for The American Legion Magazine. Does not accept A.I. generated cartoons.
