The School Magazine Submission Requirements
The School Magazine welcomes submissions or one-panel cartoons.
Cartoons and comic strips should be submitted using their webform.

They encourage the use of puns and wordplay to appeal to children and they've found that the most successful cartoons have more ‘showing’ than ‘telling.’
Cartoons need to be original work, created in a square format (120nn x 120mm minimum size) and saved in CMYK (300 dpi minimum)
Pays $266 for one-panel cartoons.
They put a call-out in April/May every year for comic serials and accept both 10-page and 20-page serials. Normally they choose 3 or 4 for the year. The payment for a 10-page serial is $8000 and $16,000 for the 20-page.
Note: This magazine uses mostly comic strips and illustrations for their articles. You might send samples and ask for assignments.
